Smart and agile, with reversible driver, four-wheel drive and steering, tilting drum system and (for easy mixing and pouring of all types of concrete) and 360° discharge, this vehicle ensures very high daily productivity in various working conditions. The DB 460 models have a special drum structure that ensures optimal homogenization of the mixture and are often equipped with the CBV 2.0 option (FIORI GROUP's own system to manage and control the production process), making them suitable for small and medium-sized plant. The unparalleled technology of CBV 2.0 ensures consistency, repeatability and certifiability of the concrete produced and includes the ability to connect to HS/BS cement transmitters, ensuring a controlled, precise, fast and documented process.

Performance and Handling

A front differential pivot shaft with larger tires and a high-pressure automatic hydrostatic transmission make driving and machine control easier on any terrain. Small and easy-to-use four-wheel-drive concrete mixers from FIORI GROUP offer impressive off-road capabilities. Thanks to the handling and excellent off-road mobility, our vehicles can be placed in a shower position in all construction sites.

Loading System

The loading arm is controlled by a Z-shaped automatically compensated kinematic mechanism with two lifting cylinders and two double-acting loader-return cylinders, the operator can easily control it thanks to the multi-function joystick. The special design of the loading conveyor facilitates the loading of materials into the drum. A separate closing hatch, driven by two cylinders and easily controlled by the operator using a multi-function controller, doses the discharge (reduces spillage of cement powder) and releases excess material by weighing before pouring into the drum (Tip-Off function).

Concrete Batching

The equipment of the CBV version includes a unique and precise dosing system (integrated into the on-board computer, with several recipes can be saved, keeping different components for each) and the specific quality of the immediate and final inspection system. This system guides the user in the preparation of the mix design, ensuring high dosage accuracy, mix homogeneity and thus very strong concrete. The moisture percentage can be entered and the water pumped into the drum automatically compensated so that the water/cement ratio remains constant. A special report is printed that certifies the properties of the concrete produced.

Concrete Quality

A special double truncated cone drum with a curved base and twin screw mixing system allows better homogenization and quality of material reducing mixing time. Making concrete at the time of use allows the cement hydration process to work at its maximum, thus avoiding the typical damage phenomena associated with climatic factors, excessive mixing, transport times and unavoidable construction interruptions. A pressure sensor mounted on the drum reducer detects the information needed to check the expected depression.

Comfort and Visibility

The patented drum rotation system also allows full control of the mix directly from the cab, combining rotating drive and 360-degree discharge. The 245° rotation of the drum actually provides full visibility, allowing the operator to control the mixture composition from the cockpit. In this position, the drum rotates and the machine remains compact. The DB 460s are equipped with a standard ground control panel (accessible to the operator at all times) to monitor, program and control the water entering the drum, as well as to activate the mixing/discharge functions and slope-raising/lowering hydraulics.
